Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erwin Fremeaux got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Lourches's Jolan Bion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Éric Leterme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Erwin Fremeaux came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lourches fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Fremeaux couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Erwin Fremeaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lourches's supporters rose to their feet, but Erwin Fremeaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éric Leterme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Jolan Bion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lourches fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. But to his dismay, Jolan Bion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lourches's goalkeeper Redouane Bru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 52 played minutes, Maraîche's Cyrille Malterre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Redouane Bru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maraîche reached it. Dylan Jérémie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Redouane Bru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Dupraz in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Erwin Fremeaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraîche's goalkeeper Éric Leterme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lourches eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
