The audience was convinced that Marin Tassart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Biais was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Limonest's Karl Biais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Tassart in the 18th minute of play. Alexis Papon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Mont got a freekick which was hit by Louison Mayeux. Djimmy Garnero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Mahut in the 32nd minute of the match. If Alexis Papon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Alexis Papon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexis Papon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigue Deck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

Karl Biais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastien Tranchant in the 70th minute of the match. Karl Biais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marin Tassart's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Karl Biais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastien Tranchant, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Leopold Cribier charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopold Cribier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Limonest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastien Tranchant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Karl Biais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastien Tranchant, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Limonest's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
