If Ahmid Mathurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Henri Lavandier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Magniez was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 16thth minute of the game Ahmid Mathurin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rouzat's Pierre-Emmanuel Ferri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Norbert Aubry came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Sundhoffen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Aubry couldn't finish the play. Sofiane Garry kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ahmid Mathurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Emmanuel Ferri having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Henri Lavandier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rouzat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henri Lavandier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sundhoffen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Didier Rouvrais hit a great ball. Henri Lavandier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salim Galais struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Maxime Magniez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rouzat. In the 43rd minute, Jonathan Gavalda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Henri Lavandier sped through Sundhoffen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Magniez. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmid Mathurin made a kick off. Maxime Magniez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henri Lavandier's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute, Didier Rouvrais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henri Lavandier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Henri Lavandier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Magniez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Sundhoffen's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Lavandier came free, but Maxime Magniez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sundhoffen's Maxime Magniez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Lavandier in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Rouzat booed when Sundhoffen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Gavalda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Hamid Groult sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre-Emmanuel Ferri skillfully saved the ball. Daniel Lecointe hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Norbert Aubry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundhoffen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Aubry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jonathan Gavalda put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pierre-Emmanuel Ferri. Pierre-Emmanuel Ferri came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundhoffen's Ahmid Mathurin. But to his dismay, Ahmid Mathurin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ahmid Mathurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Emmanuel Ferri having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ahmid Mathurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre-Emmanuel Ferri was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Maxime Magniez made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Salim Galais sent off a good shot on target. Ahmid Mathurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
