Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabrice Maynard took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Emile Bernadet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Christophe Bordenave saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Eybens got a freekick which was hit by Auguste Olivo. After having played for 12 minutes, Octave Peigne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eybens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octave Peigne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Neuhof booed when Eybens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Person didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emile Bernadet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabrice Maynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Neuhof getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Raymond Botte hit a great ball. Octave Peigne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Walter Boulet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octave Peigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabrice Maynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrice Maynard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Labitte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Leo Ponchel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neuhof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eybens the free kick. A collision led to Neuhof getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leo Ponchel hit a great ball. Felicien Baumgarten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walter Boulet. Neuhof's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Neuhof's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felicien Baumgarten was slow to take the kick. During this time Eybens's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Felicien Baumgarten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Neuhof's Walter Boulet did a great save. If Octave Peigne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Christophe Bordenave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Labitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrice Maynard kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Fabrice Maynard struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Walter Boulet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eybens. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Garot during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Eybens got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Garot. The supporters of Eybens booed when Neuhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Morlot didn't get a good kick on the ball.
