Jean-Marie Berteloot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Chevreuil having to interfere. Antoine Polge's late challenge caught a Mulocherie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antoine Polge helped the player get up and apologised. Antoine Polge hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Jean-Marie Berteloot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Chevreuil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnouville's Roger Gagnepain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gérald Dumetz in the 32nd minute of play. Donatien Florès received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Renan Chevreuil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc-Olivier Humez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Donatien Florès had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Donatien Florès managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arnouville's supporters rose to their feet, but Donatien Florès was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Chevreuil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Donatien Florès had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gérald Dumetz to make the kick off. Gérald Dumetz took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Gagnepain. Roger Gagnepain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Arnouville's Arnaud Casanova got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gérald Dumetz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Gagnepain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Donatien Florès got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Mulocherie's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marie Berteloot came free, but Renan Chevreuil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Jean-Marie Berteloot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Arnouville's Dove Courtes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Armand Baptiste took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Gagnepain. But to his dismay, Gérald Dumetz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 90th minute of the match, Antoine Polge tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renan Chevreuil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eddy Large might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Gagnepain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eddy Large ran back to his position shaking his head. With 95 minutes on the clock, Dove Courtes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 95 minutes into the game, one of Arnouville:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arnouville's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mulocherie had won, even though Arnouville had held more of the ball.
