Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marin Beaussier started the match with the kick off. Martial Pesnel charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martial Pesnel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martial Pesnel hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th match minute, Maulde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Dupuy to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Tony Alessandri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maulde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Greg Larbi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Greg Larbi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gabriel Bidaut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Provostais defense, Greg Larbi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Bidaut. The Provostais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Bidaut should have stopped the shot. Grégory Wirtz made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Gerard Lanfranchi sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teddy Marchet during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Maulde got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Marchet. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Alessandri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Maulde's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Beaussier came free, but Grégory Wirtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Marin Beaussier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danny Dupuy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gabriel Bidaut made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Tony Alessandri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 62nd minute, Marin Beaussier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maulde's zone, Gerard Lanfranchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grégory Wirtz came out of the goal and Gerard Lanfranchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Provostais's Marin Beaussier got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Provostais:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maulde:s goal. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Maulde's Adrien Marsollier got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gabriel Bidaut. Gabriel Bidaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Dupuy's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Danny Dupuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gabriel Bidaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Dupuy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Bidaut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Tony Alessandri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerard Lanfranchi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grégory Wirtz having to make a save. Danny Dupuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gabriel Bidaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maulde's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
