Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Auguste Santoro kicked off to start the match. Bastien Siebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honoré Garcon in the 9th minute of the match. When Auguste Santoro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Chaligny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Auguste Santoro couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Yves Missonnier during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barthelemy Bourge was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bastien Siebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honoré Garcon in the 23rd minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Chaligny's goal looked a bit too open when Honoré Garcon came free, but Bastien Siebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honoré Garcon in the 33rd minute of play forced Chaligny's goalkeeper Bastien Siebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson Duhem charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelson Duhem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nelson Duhem kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nelson Hatte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villemomble's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Hatte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastien Siebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bastien Siebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honoré Garcon in the 41st minute of the match. Honoré Garcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bastien Siebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honoré Garcon might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastien Siebert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honoré Garcon ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honoré Garcon to strike the kick off in the second half. When Chaligny's Edouard Versini in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villemomble's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, Éric Tison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Auguste Santoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Sohier having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Villemomble's Ibrahim Daire got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Auguste Santoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Chaligny's Bastien Siebert got control of the ball when Nelson Hatte tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Edouard Versini fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaligny's protests and gave Edouard Versini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chaligny getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edouard Versini hit a great ball. Nelson Hatte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastien Siebert having to interfere. Jordy Sohier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auguste Santoro in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Chaligny's goalkeeper Bastien Siebert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Hatte. After a defensive mix-up in Villemomble's zone, Steve Roos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordy Sohier came out of the goal and Steve Roos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villemomble's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
