Valois's Jean Aubrun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Papot in the 17th minute of play. Steve Bourmaud struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jean Aubrun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelmaurou. Farid Bascoul in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alou Maier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Sam Lecœur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Castelmaurou's zone, Sam Lecœur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alou Maier came out of the goal and Sam Lecœur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Rémi Bouchaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Farid Bascoul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valois's Sam Lecœur got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Valois players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castelmaurou were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Roland Papot made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firmin Vieville in the 51st minute of play forced Castelmaurou's goalkeeper Alou Maier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rémi Bouchaud struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jean Aubrun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelmaurou. Farid Bascoul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Philippe Ludwig during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Steve Bourmaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jean Aubrun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Aubrun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Papot, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Alou Maier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Bascoul in the 92nd minute of the match. If Farid Bascoul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rémi Bouchaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jean Aubrun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Castelmaurou had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
