Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Valois's Sam Lecœur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dominique Vitre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Lecœur in the 5th minute of the match. Sam Lecœur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Vitre having to interfere. Gaetan Esteve struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jean Aubrun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crévion. In the 11th minute, Georges Taillard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Valois booed when Crévion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernand Lesauvage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominique Vitre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Bascoul in the 15th minute of the match. Sam Lecœur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dominique Vitre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crévion's Dominique Vitre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Lecœur in the 18th minute of play. Gaetan Esteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jean Aubrun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Crévion's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Lecœur came free, but Dominique Vitre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crévion's Dominique Vitre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farid Bascoul in the 25th minute of play. Jean Aubrun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaetan Esteve in the 27th minute. After 27 played minutes Valois got a freekick which was hit by Cyprien Evanno. Sam Lecœur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Vitre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Lecœur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baptiste Perrocheau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Aubrun having to make a save. After some careless play in the Valois defense, Gaetan Esteve kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean Aubrun. The Valois fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean Aubrun should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baptiste Perrocheau to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Crévion's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Farid Bascoul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Crévion getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jacob Traineau hit a great ball. Sam Lecœur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Brian Chaubet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farid Bascoul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominique Vitre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Sam Lecœur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baptiste Perrocheau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominique Vitre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Farid Bascoul went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Farid Bascoul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dominique Vitre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Gerbier kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 95 played minutes, Valois's Modeste Lempereur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominique Vitre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valois reached it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
