Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davy Meriaux kicked off to start the match. Anatole Le Lan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melvin Dupeux in the 7th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Villabé got a freekick which was hit by Mario Roques. After some careless play in the Villabé defense, Jean-Pierre Chevillon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anatole Le Lan. The Villabé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anatole Le Lan should have stopped the shot. Anatole Le Lan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Chevillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastien Raffier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavien Morgand in the 19th minute. Sebastien Raffier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Meriaux in the 22nd minute of play. Davy Meriaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sebastien Raffier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Davy Meriaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Villabé's Davy Meriaux slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastien Raffier. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. Anatole Le Lan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pierre Chevillon in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Baptiste Corre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villabé's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gattières the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Villabé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gattières:s goal. After 48 minutes, Jean-Pierre Chevillon made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Villabé's Anatole Le Lan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Pierre Chevillon made a kick off. Davy Meriaux might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastien Raffier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davy Meriaux ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Roques kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Emeric Viale hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Davy Meriaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villabé's supporters rose to their feet, but Davy Meriaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastien Raffier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 minutes of play, Villabé's Flavien Morgand made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastien Raffier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 77 played minutes Villabé got a freekick which was hit by Francis Savalle. A collision led to Villabé getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Djimmy Houze hit a great ball. With a little luck, Villabé's Anatole Le Lan got control of the ball when Melvin Dupeux tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastien Raffier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Meriaux in the 87th minute of play. Jean-Pierre Chevillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatole Le Lan having to interfere. Sebastien Raffier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavien Morgand in the 95th minute of the match.
