Ronan Prouvost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Gunther, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gustave Gunther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ronan Prouvost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Champlan's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Buche came free, but Sidney Delaunay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorien Picaud kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Omar Buche kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sidney Delaunay. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fenouillet's zone, Victorien Picaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronan Prouvost came out of the goal and Victorien Picaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renan Fontenelle kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Theo Dejean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronan Prouvost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Dejean, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Ronan Prouvost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Dejean in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Omar Buche made the kick off in the second half. Ronan Prouvost made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gustave Gunther sent off a good shot on target. Fenouillet's Ronan Prouvost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Gunther in the 56th minute of play. When Joachim Nys fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenouillet's protests and gave Joachim Nys a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Joachim Nys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match Fenouillet got a corner. Champlan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johnny Silvestri ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Fenouillet's corner Johnny Silvestri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sidney Delaunay quite easily take care of the ball. The Champlan fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Champlan's Gustave Gunther looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sidney Delaunay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Émile Denhez in the 97th minute of play. The Champlan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
