Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Buche started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Émile Denhez in the 5th minute of play forced Villabé's goalkeeper Anatole Le Lan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Émile Denhez in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anatole Le Lan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavien Morgand succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Villabé's zone, Joachim Nys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anatole Le Lan came out of the goal and Joachim Nys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Buche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Anatole Le Lan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Villabé's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Buche came free, but Anatole Le Lan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Omar Buche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Omar Buche, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Anatole Le Lan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Villabé's Leonard Gallet got a free kick in the 25th minute. Flavien Morgand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Prouvost having to interfere. A collision led to Fenouillet getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Renan Fontenelle hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes Fenouillet got a freekick which was hit by Omar Buche. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davy Meriaux was the one to do the kick off. Fenouillet's Ronan Prouvost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavien Morgand in the 52nd minute of play. Omar Buche might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anatole Le Lan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Buche ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Villabé's goalkeeper Anatole Le Lan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Émile Denhez. If Flavien Morgand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davy Meriaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ronan Prouvost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Babel charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Babel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Omar Buche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Joachim Nys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenouillet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villabé the free kick. After 70 played minutes Fenouillet got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Nys. 72 minutes into the game, Omar Buche recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anatole Le Lan. Omar Buche showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Omar Buche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Émile Denhez sped through Villabé's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anatole Le Lan. Fenouillet's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
