The supporters of Lauwin booed when Aubergenville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustave Manzoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Aubergenville defense, Enzo Bailleux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugène Ducoin. The Aubergenville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugène Ducoin should have stopped the shot. With his leg Jonathan Amet managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Aubergenville's Hector Carlier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Pierre-Loup Bessières dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Amet, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre-Loup Bessières in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Amet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The tension between the Aubergenville and the Lauwin players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Theo Macaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Pierre-Loup Bessières got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aubergenville's Eugène Ducoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Bailleux in the 62nd minute of play. If Hector Carlier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes, Axel Crochet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lauwin and the Aubergenville players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Lauwin got a freekick which was hit by Axel Crochet. When Pierre-Louis Rubin fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Lauwin's supporters rose to their feet, but Kévin Ropars was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugène Ducoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Bailleux was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Lauwin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jonathan Amet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Carlier's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lauwin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
