The audience was convinced that Romuald Grasser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Paul Fève was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Arlac's Jean-Paul Fève played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romuald Grasser in the 7th minute of play. When Steevy Guilloux came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Arlac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steevy Guilloux couldn't finish the play. Annecy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Noureddine Gautron scored to the left of an out of position Maurice Philippon, making the score, 2-0. Maurice Philippon made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Steevy Guilloux sent off a good shot on target. Maurice Philippon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Gautron, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Annecy's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Arlac. Romuald Grasser struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jean-Paul Fève didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annecy. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Romuald Grasser made the kick off in the second half. If Romeo Pincon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurice Philippon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noureddine Gautron in the 56th minute of the match. Steevy Guilloux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Philippon having to interfere. If Romuald Grasser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathan Dehu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Aziz Trochet hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Steevy Guilloux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noureddine Gautron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Maurice Philippon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurice Philippon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steevy Guilloux in the 84th minute of the match. Allan Doré hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Romuald Grasser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
