The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Courson's Marc-Aurèle Severe got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc-Aurèle Severe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in XoudaillesYerres fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Courson a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mathias Sohier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of XoudaillesYerres's Leonard Boutier. 0-1. When Courson's Marc-Aurèle Severe in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye XoudaillesYerres's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc-Aurèle Severe in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Boutier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Edmond Mortier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmond Mortier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Clin. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. In the 34th minute, Romuald Teboul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Courson's Mathias Sohier tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Courson's Mamadou Richou in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye XoudaillesYerres's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edmond Mortier made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Courson's Isaac Compère dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Courson's goalkeeper Ali Clin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alphonse Vuillermoz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When XoudaillesYerres's Edmond Mortier in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Courson's goalie prevented a goal. Leonard Boutier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mamadou Richou in the 72nd minute. Marc-Aurèle Severe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Boutier having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, XoudaillesYerres's goal looked a bit too open when Marc-Aurèle Severe came free, but Leonard Boutier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, one of Courson:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave XoudaillesYerres a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joseph Ducourneau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Courson's Ali Clin. 2-2. When Dan Baume fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Courson's protests and gave Dan Baume a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to XoudaillesYerres getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aymerick Bordage hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Courson's Mathias Sohier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 93rd match minute, Courson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc-Aurèle Severe to maneuver through the defense. Alphonse Vuillermoz's late challenge caught a XoudaillesYerres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alphonse Vuillermoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Courson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alphonse Vuillermoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Edmond Mortier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Clin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. XoudaillesYerres succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Courson had controlled the match.
