Jean-Pierre Longueville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regis Santoni in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Theodore Bouillot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franklin Beaufils. Gajac's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theodore Bouillot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Redouane Housset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Franklin Beaufils tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Regis Santoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Thierry Dantin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Regis Santoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franklin Beaufils took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Redouane Housset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gajac getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Julien Samson hit a great ball. Loic Quint charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loic Quint the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Loic Quint hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Sauvian's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Floch came free, but Jean-Pierre Longueville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Gajac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valerien Celeste to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Tim Herrou shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franklin Beaufils showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Gajac's goal looked a bit too open when Redouane Housset came free, but Franklin Beaufils reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gajac's Matthieu Courant got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Sauvian's Redouane Housset sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Beaufils narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theodore Bouillot made a kick off. Franklin Beaufils was a little too slow when Theodore Bouillot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-2. Regis Santoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Regis Santoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Pierre Longueville having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Ulysse Chabrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theodore Bouillot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Franklin Beaufils tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Franklin Beaufils throw himself and got hold of the ball when Theodore Bouillot in the 75thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Redouane Housset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Franklin Beaufils tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match Matthieu Courant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Pierre Longueville skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Regis Santoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Pierre Longueville was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd match minute, Sauvian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thierry Dantin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis Santoni in the 95th minute of play forced Sauvian's goalkeeper Jean-Pierre Longueville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sauvian eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
