Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joris Bascou started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viriat's goalkeeper Salomon Huby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Allan Soaress short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Lilian Odin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varage's goalkeeper Lilian Odin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Jean-Paul Bonvalot fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Viriat's Jean-Paul Bonvalot got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lilian Odin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Soares in the 25th minute. A collision led to Varage getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Carlos Auclair hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Tanguy Jimenez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lilian Odin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Varage's Lilian Odin got control of the ball when Allan Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salomon Huby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre-Loup Mattei's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 43 played minutes Jean-Paul Bonvalot rounded Varage's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Viriat's Yvan Belhomme got a free kick in the 46th minute. Pierre-Loup Mattei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Paul Bonvalot to make the kick off. Lilian Odin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Soares in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Viriat's goalkeeper Salomon Huby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Loup Mattei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Bascou in the 57th minute of play forced Viriat's goalkeeper Salomon Huby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Soares in the 60th minute of play forced Varage's goalkeeper Lilian Odin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Varage's Joris Bascou in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Viriat's goalie prevented a goal. Pierre-Loup Mattei kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Allan Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lilian Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Allan Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilian Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilian Odin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Soares in the 78th minute of play. Marc-Aurèle Louche kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Viriat's Tanguy Jimenez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jean-Paul Bonvalot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lilian Odin having to interfere. If Pierre-Loup Mattei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Varage's Joris Bascou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Lilian Odin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Paul Bonvalot in the 93rd minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
