Florentin Perraudin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilien Lecat in the 19th minute of play forced Locheteau's goalkeeper Joey Gantois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilien Lecat might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joey Gantois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Goffart got free with Ronald Berteau in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, Ergal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathys Bozon to maneuver through the defense. Ronald Berteau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raoul Da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Chris Goffart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Raoul Da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locheteau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raoul Da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ergal's Mathys Bozon got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Emeric Naulleau fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ergal's protests and gave Emeric Naulleau a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Raoul Da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Berteau was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raoul Da Silva made a kick off. Ronald Berteau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raoul Da Silva in the 54th minute of play. Chris Goffart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ronald Berteau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Chris Goffart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilien Lecat in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joey Gantois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 68 minutes, Raoul Da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locheteau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raoul Da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Faustin Riffault managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ergal's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustin Riffault was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Gantois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joey Gantois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustin Riffault in the 78th minute. Joey Gantois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilien Lecat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, Locheteau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Christophe Desire to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Jason Degrave shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joey Gantois showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Locheteau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Goffart to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
