Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ewan Boussac started the match with the kick off. When Moise Lorcy fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puteaux's protests and gave Moise Lorcy a yellow card for diving instead. Dave Lorrain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Auguste Mathieu went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dave Lorrain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Auguste Mathieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ewan Boussac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gregoire Donze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puteaux's Gregoire Donze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ewan Boussac in the 24th minute of play. If Jean-Marie Bergougnoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ewan Boussac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaupuy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ewan Boussac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregoire Donze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave Lorrain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auguste Mathieu in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ewan Boussac in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregoire Donze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th match minute, Puteaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Lorcy to maneuver through the defense. Beaupuy's Ewan Boussac got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregoire Donze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Marie Bergougnoux in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Romeo L Hostis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Erwan Cousseau came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Puteaux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwan Cousseau couldn't finish the play. Ewan Boussac struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Gregoire Donze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaupuy. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 53 played minutes Beaupuy got a freekick which was hit by Gilles Mirabel. In the 54th minute, Erwan Cousseau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Puteaux's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marie Bergougnoux came free, but Gregoire Donze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ewan Boussac came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Beaupuy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ewan Boussac couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Erwan Cousseau notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Beaupuy's Dave Lorrain. Dave Lorrain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beaupuy's Aziz Boucault got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beaupuy's Jean-Marie Bergougnoux got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Plu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puteaux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beaupuy the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Ewan Boussac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregoire Donze was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With his leg Dave Lorrain managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Puteaux's Erwan Cousseau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Erwan Cousseau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
