Dave Lorrain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Gruau in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Cornebarrieu got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Guezennec. When Aziz Boucault fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beaupuy's protests and gave Aziz Boucault a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Beaupuy getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Aziz Boucault hit a great ball. Ewan Boussac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeo Guezennec to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Beaupuy's protests and gave Donovan Kazmierczak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Beaupuy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Kazmierczak to maneuver through the defense. Sofiane Metenier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dave Lorrain.
