Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robin Mury kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Rancenay got a freekick which was hit by Romain Gaignard. Richard Rahmani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Mury in the 8th minute of play. Benoit Loth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clement Lebleu in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Thierry Aguerre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Rancenay got a corner. Vayres's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maurice Duplan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gilbert Malard hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Robin Mury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Richard Rahmani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Malard in the 23rd minute of play forced Rancenay's goalkeeper Richard Rahmani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vayres booed when Rancenay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felicien Rocher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Mury got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Richard Rahmani handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Rancenay got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Mao. If Gilbert Malard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gilbert Malard came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Vayres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Malard couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Gilbert Malard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Rahmani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Rancenay's Clement Lebleu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vayres were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Rancenay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pacome Muller took the corner. With a little luck, Rancenay's Richard Rahmani got control of the ball when Gilbert Malard tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc Vray during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marc Vray kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Felicien Rocher kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clement Lebleu in the 78th minute of play forced Vayres's goalkeeper Benoit Loth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomon Plasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benoit Loth having to interfere. Donovan Mao struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Benoit Loth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancenay. Benoit Loth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomon Plasse in the 89th minute of play. Rancenay's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
