After a defensive mix-up in Chatenet's zone, Jean Pin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Bénazet came out of the goal and Jean Pin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. René Bénazet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofyane Grossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofyane Grossi in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck René Bénazet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. René Bénazet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofyane Grossi's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Chatenet's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Pin came free, but René Bénazet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chatenet's Kilian Plouvier got a free kick in the 19th minute. Corentin Sauzeau made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jean-Pascal Delsart sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 27 minutes, Jean Pin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fouilloux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Pin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chatenet getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kilian Plouvier hit a great ball. If Sofyane Grossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jean Pin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofyane Grossi in the 42nd minute of play forced Chatenet's goalkeeper René Bénazet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Bénazet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Pin in the 44th minute of play. Dan Hirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corentin Sauzeau having to interfere. Dan Hirel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corentin Sauzeau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sofyane Grossi to strike the kick off in the second half. Dan Hirel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Corentin Sauzeau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 67 minutes into the match, Fouilloux's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Hirel came free, but Corentin Sauzeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Pin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Bénazet having to interfere. Dan Hirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Sofyane Grossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Pascal Delsart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Corentin Sauzeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chatenet's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
