Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sète's Flavian Devos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gildas Gillier struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. One of Nangy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sète:s goal. 9 minutes into the match, Jim Maria notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nangy's Jean Jousseaume. Jean Jousseaume was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sète's goalkeeper Noureddine Gâtineau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavian Devos in the 16th minute of play forced Nangy's goalkeeper Jean Jousseaume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sète booed when Nangy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Roman Tassy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sète's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Tassy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Jousseaume breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Nangy's goal looked a bit too open when Flavian Devos came free, but Jean Jousseaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nangy's Jean Jousseaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Tassy in the 75th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Flavian Devos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nangy's Jean Jousseaume was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lorenzo Bonhomme hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Éloi Aldebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute of the match Jim Maria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean Jousseaume skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sète had played much better football throughout.
