When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavian Devos made a kick off. Perrinche's Davy Espie got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Perrinche's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Tassy came free, but Jacques Hutin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Perrinche getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Denis Foray hit a great ball. Flavian Devos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Augustin Passard fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Jacques Hutin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roman Tassy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sète supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perrinche's performance. The match ended with a win for Perrinche.
