In the 3rd minute Francis Daviau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basile Verlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Daviau in the 7th minute of play forced Vrière's goalkeeper Basile Verlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vrière's Basile Verlet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Vrière from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Martin Peretti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vrière fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Joey Rodot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Basile Verlet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philibert Faugeron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Melis in the 27th minute of the match. Martin Peretti struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Philibert Faugeron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrière. 30 minutes into the match, Martin Peretti notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Yutz's Philibert Faugeron. Philibert Faugeron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes in the game, Francis Daviau fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Basile Verlet having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Anthony Melis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vrière's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Melis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philibert Faugeron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philibert Faugeron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Peretti in the 40th minute of the match. Patrick Probst's late challenge caught a Yutz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Probst helped the player get up and apologised. Patrick Probst kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Peretti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guy Corroyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basile Verlet having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Joey Rodot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yutz and the Vrière players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joey Rodot hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Francis Daviau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basile Verlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basile Verlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Daviau in the 67th minute of the match. Basile Verlet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guy Corroyer's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Sabri Garot's late challenge caught a Yutz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabri Garot helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Vrière got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Garot. Yutz's Guy Corroyer got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Yutz's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Peretti came free, but Philibert Faugeron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Anthony Melis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Melis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthony Melis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Philibert Faugeron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Sidney Lapointe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Corroyer in the 95th minute of play forced Vrière's goalkeeper Basile Verlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vrière supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vrière would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
