Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frederic Magre made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Francois-Xavier Chabanne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederic Magre in the 5th minute of play forced Verrière's goalkeeper Xavier Paire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Verrière's Erwin Gastaldi got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Frederic Magre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaudherland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederic Magre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Calvin Manfredi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Hulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Gastaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xavier Paire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francois-Xavier Chabanne in the 21st minute. Xavier Paire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Magre, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Xavier Paire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederic Magre in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Francois-Xavier Chabanne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaudherland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francois-Xavier Chabanne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Raphael Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaudherland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verrière the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Vaudherland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Verrière's Roger Hulin got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavier Paire was a little too slow when Frederic Magre got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-0. Frederic Magre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavier Paire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederic Magre in the 46th minute of play forced Verrière's goalkeeper Xavier Paire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Hulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Verrière's Batiste Lengrand got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Batiste Lengrand got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Robin Bouveret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Hulin in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Herbert Deforge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verrière and the Vaudherland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Verrière! If Batiste Lengrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Verrière booed when Vaudherland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaetan Malgras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Sam Viart shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robin Bouveret showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Hulin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Bouveret read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Erwin Gastaldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Robin Bouveret made a huge save.
