Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Danny Becuwe made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Wirth got free with Louis Drugeon in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Germain Kern fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lannoy's protests and gave Germain Kern a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Lannoy got a freekick which was hit by Germain Kern. Quentin Wirth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Louis Drugeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Braillerie's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Becuwe came free, but Louis Drugeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felicien Matz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quentin Wirth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louis Drugeon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Lannoy's goal looked a bit too open when Felicien Matz came free, but Hocine Menard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Gourdet charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Gourdet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Braillerie booed when Lannoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Gourdet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hocine Menard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felicien Matz in the 42nd minute of play. Danny Becuwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Louis Drugeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felicien Matz was the one to do the kick off. Danny Becuwe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Quentin Wirth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lannoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Wirth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis Drugeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braillerie's Louis Drugeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Jeanney in the 66th minute of play. Felicien Matz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hocine Menard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Gustave Guin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Braillerie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yves Jeanney hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Wirth in the 83rd minute of play forced Braillerie's goalkeeper Louis Drugeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Hocine Menard managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Braillerie's Gustave Guin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 87 played minutes Lannoy got a freekick which was hit by Eric Kwiatkowski. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lannoy! Marc-Antoine Ribaud scored 0-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hocine Menard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Quentin Wirth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolphe Briend kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When Felicien Matz came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Braillerie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felicien Matz couldn't finish the play. The Braillerie supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Braillerie would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
