Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Georges Large came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Pointe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georges Large couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the game, one of Pointe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Barrade's Pierre Lesaffre got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kader Exbrayat. Kader Exbrayat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Berthome, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Georges Large charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georges Large the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Pointe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georges Large to maneuver through the defense. Émeric Sauvage hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Thibaut Tassin fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrade's protests and gave Thibaut Tassin a yellow card for diving instead. Vincent Anselin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Emmanuel Alessandri having to interfere. If Thibaut Tassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Berthome stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Jean-Pascal Foucart fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrade's protests and gave Jean-Pascal Foucart a yellow card for diving instead. Jean-Pascal Foucart hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrade's goalkeeper Charles-Emmanuel Alessandri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charles-Emmanuel Alessandri was a little too slow when Vincent Anselin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 62nd minute, Thibaut Tassin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kader Exbrayat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Berthome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thibaut Tassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kader Exbrayat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
