In the 7th minute, Corentin Bonnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erwan Neel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kader Exbrayat. Pointe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colonie's Hercule Linard got a free kick in the 9th minute. Kader Exbrayat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of François Deborde's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The supporters of Pointe booed when Colonie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hippolyte Fauveau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pointe's Eddy Bertout tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by François Deborde in the 16th minute of play forced Pointe's goalkeeper Kader Exbrayat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Denis Galan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colonie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Galan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Colonie's Denis Galan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kader Exbrayat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match, Vincent Anselin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Igor Escoffier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colonie's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eddy Bertout was slow to take the kick. During this time Pointe's players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, Vincent Anselin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Escoffier, 2-0. The supporters of Colonie booed when Pointe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corentin Bonnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Denis Galan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Galan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Pointe getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Georges Large hit a great ball.
Corentin Bonnin charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corentin Bonnin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Corentin Bonnin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pointe's goalkeeper Kader Exbrayat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Colonie's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Anselin came free, but Igor Escoffier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Anselin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Escoffier having to make a save. 66 minutes into the game, Pointe's Réda Watier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Escoffier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Igor Escoffier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Anselin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Pointe booed when Colonie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabin Godfrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Anselin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Escoffier saved Colonie from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, François Deborde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kader Exbrayat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd match minute, Pointe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffroy Cuinet to maneuver through the defense. Pointe's Kader Exbrayat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Pointe from getting a goal against them. Colonie's Denis Galan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Denis Galan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colonie's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Galan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kader Exbrayat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Galan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kader Exbrayat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Barbotin charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Barbotin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pointe's Luis Barbotin got a free kick in the 96th minute. Pointe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
