Simon Rival's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marc Griot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Boël's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Scouarnec came free, but Jean-Marc Griot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Simon Rival had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Marc Griot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Rival in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Simon Rival managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montlignon's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Rival was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Marc Griot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Rival struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jean-Marc Griot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montlignon. In the 30th minute Dorian Scouarnec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marc Griot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montlignon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramzi Berenger in the 34th minute. Ramzi Berenger made a great header on Montlignon's corner, it was just that Boël's Jean-Marc Griot managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Scouarnec in the 36th minute of play forced Boël's goalkeeper Jean-Marc Griot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emeric Caillaud got free with Bruce Vache in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baptiste Chaumeil was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Emeric Caillaud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruce Vache was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emeric Caillaud in the 58th minute of play forced Montlignon's goalkeeper Bruce Vache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montlignon's goalkeeper Bruce Vache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Emeric Caillaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Boël getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Titouan Toutain hit a great ball.
