Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Honoré Nadaud got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Melvin Camara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pétrie's supporters rose to their feet, but Melvin Camara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yves Moiroud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Villemeneux's Flavien Peyrou got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Pétrie's Pierre-Emmanuel Lefebure broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Yves Malet during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Villemeneux getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jean-Yves Malet hit a great ball. Jonathan Cuenot charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Cuenot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Villemeneux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Cuenot to maneuver through the defense. When Melvin Camara came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Pétrie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melvin Camara couldn't finish the play. Melvin Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pacôme Largeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edouard Pillon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honoré Nadaud's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pétrie's goalkeeper Edouard Pillon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jordan Cugnet's late challenge caught a Villemeneux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordan Cugnet helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Pétrie got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Cugnet. In the 35th minute, Honoré Nadaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edouard Pillon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacôme Largeau in the 37th minute of play. Pacôme Largeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Igor Bach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melvin Camara was the one to do the kick off. Edouard Pillon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honoré Nadaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Melvin Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honoré Nadaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Pacôme Largeau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edouard Pillon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Villemeneux's Yves Moiroud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Camara in the 74th minute of play. Pacôme Largeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Pétrie got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Rohmer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Camara in the 90th minute of play forced Villemeneux's goalkeeper Yves Moiroud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Villemeneux's Honoré Nadaud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edouard Pillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Villemeneux eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
