After a defensive mix-up in Seclin's zone, Gregoire Marchat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaetan Desportes came out of the goal and Gregoire Marchat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Celestin Deve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Malcom Goron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Gregoire Marchat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaetan Desportes was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Cavernes's Malcom Goron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Cavernes from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Mohamed Bartoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seclin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavernes the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Fauconnier made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Seclin's Mehdi Linard got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Mehdi Linard kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Romuald Clermont sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcom Goron skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Seclin booed when Cavernes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofiane Metral didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Harry Fauconnier, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Malcom Goron was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Harry Fauconnier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malcom Goron was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With a little luck, Seclin's Gaetan Desportes got control of the ball when Franck Longo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Harry Fauconnier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcom Goron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Seclin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilien Lefrancois to maneuver through the defense. Cavernes's Eliott Patard shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gaetan Desportes but with some difficulty. 78 minutes into the match, Cavernes's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Fauconnier came free, but Malcom Goron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Seclin's Marvin Malaterre got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eliott Patard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcom Goron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestin Deve, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute, Cavernes's Franck Longo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1.
