Bernin's Firmin Queva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noé Bauduin in the 9th minute of play. Jérémie Malfait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Yves Mézière having to interfere. Ronald Bougon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pouilly's Noé Bauduin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aymerick Molle hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Bernin's Bob Domingues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Yves Mézière. Jean-Yves Mézière yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Noé Bauduin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pouilly's supporters rose to their feet, but Noé Bauduin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firmin Queva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Bernin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pouilly were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bob Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Pouilly's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Domingues came free, but Jean-Yves Mézière reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noé Bauduin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Firmin Queva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jérémie Malfait came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bernin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jérémie Malfait couldn't finish the play. Firmin Queva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noé Bauduin in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Bob Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Georges Lemasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald Bougon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Queva having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierre-Olivier Magalhaes during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jean-Yves Mézière showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the last second Firmin Queva throw himself and got hold of the ball when Noé Bauduin in the 83rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 86thth minute of the game Jérémie Malfait who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pouilly's Jean-Yves Mézière was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Bernin booed when Pouilly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Sebille didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Pierre-Olivier Magalhaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jérémie Malfait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Yves Mézière having to interfere. Pouilly's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
