Ewan Renucci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Noé Batt. Raimbeaucourt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Raimbeaucourt getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kylian Hahn hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Raimbeaucourt's goal looked a bit too open when Raphaël Penisson came free, but Noé Batt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, one of Raimbeaucourt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Noé Batt came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Pointe's Raphaël Penisson. But to his dismay, Raphaël Penisson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Renan Boulnois might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donald Bretel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renan Boulnois ran back to his position shaking his head.

Renan Boulnois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Donald Bretel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Renan Boulnois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Raimbeaucourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émile Savidan to maneuver through the defense. Raimbeaucourt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphaël Penisson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With a little luck, Raimbeaucourt's Noé Batt got control of the ball when Raphaël Penisson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Renan Boulnois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raimbeaucourt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan Boulnois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sammy Levacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noé Batt having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pointe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
