In the 10th match minute, Pégomas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Pautonnier to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Pierre-Henri Benito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barthelemy Guez was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Gustave Lehmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre-Henri Benito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barthelemy Guez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Artus in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reda Chevillot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barthelemy Guez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Henri Benito in the 28th minute of the match. Barthelemy Guez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Benito in the 34th minute of play. Pierre-Henri Benito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Barthelemy Guez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustave Lehmann got free with Barthelemy Guez in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moise Guilloux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Reda Chevillot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pégomas booed when Hem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Darcy didn't get a good kick on the ball.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustave Lehmann in the 54th minute of play forced Pégomas's goalkeeper Barthelemy Guez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pégomas's Jimmy Wargnier got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gustave Lehmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barthelemy Guez having to interfere. Barthelemy Guez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre-Henri Benito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the game, Allan Malaise landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Georges Mornet's late challenge caught a Hem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Mornet helped the player get up and apologised. Gustave Lehmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moise Guilloux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Reda Chevillot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hem's Reda Chevillot got control of the ball when Ernest Artus tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 85th minute of the match Georges Mornet completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Georges Mornet a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 86th minute, Georges Mornet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Artus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hem's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
