Franck Petitot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Binard in the 3rd minute of the match. Bazillère's Franck Petitot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Emmanuel Pionnier in the 10th minute of play. Hamza Jamain's late challenge caught a Bazillère's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamza Jamain helped the player get up and apologised. Hamza Jamain kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bazillère's Francois Gaget got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Jimmy Grassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joris Sow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Bazillère's Sabri Bonzom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joris Sow narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimmy Grassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamza Jamain was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Bazillère booed when Frémur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Jamain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Frémur's Célestin Guéneau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franck Petitot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dominique Binard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Binard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Petitot having to interfere. Célestin Guéneau's late challenge caught a Bazillère's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célestin Guéneau helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Frémur got a freekick which was hit by Célestin Guéneau. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dominique Binard made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Michael Reveillon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazillère and the Frémur players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Bazillère:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Frémur:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabri Bonzom in the 63rd minute of play forced Frémur's goalkeeper Joris Sow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabri Bonzom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Joris Sow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bazillère's Jimmy Grassi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Rémi Boulange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achille Burdin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joris Sow. Frémur's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Frémur's Dominique Binard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franck Petitot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 84th match minute, Bazillère was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francois Gaget to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Dominique Binard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frémur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominique Binard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dominique Binard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominique Binard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Petitot having to interfere. The Frémur players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
