The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Joffrey Dhainaut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yves Penicaud was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Emilien Rullier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Penicaud having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Corbehem's Joffrey Dhainaut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yves Penicaud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fabrice Adler kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Alex Deprez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Niévroz's goal looked a bit too open when Joffrey Dhainaut came free, but Yves Penicaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucien Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Desbiolles in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Corbehem's Lucien Hoffmann got control of the ball when Alex Deprez tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Niévroz getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Josselin Goret hit a great ball. Jean-Christophe Desbiolles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Hoffmann having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Alex Deprez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niévroz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lucien Hoffmann made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Alex Deprez sent off a good shot on target. If Jean-Christophe Desbiolles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Niévroz's Jean-Christophe Desbiolles got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-Christophe Desbiolles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabrice Adler charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrice Adler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrice Adler hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes, Niévroz's Johan Vareille shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucien Hoffmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Niévroz reached it. Emilien Rullier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes, Francis Faurie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niévroz and the Corbehem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Niévroz's Francis Faurie got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Niévroz's zone, Emilien Rullier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yves Penicaud came out of the goal and Emilien Rullier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd match minute, Niévroz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basile Duru to maneuver through the defense. Yves Penicaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joffrey Dhainaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81stth minute of the game Alex Deprez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corbehem's Lucien Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnold Lachaud hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Jean-Christophe Desbiolles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Lucien Hoffmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 90 minutes, Emilien Rullier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corbehem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilien Rullier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucien Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Deprez in the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
