Lucien Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacques Gobillot's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, Corbehem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honore Kauffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Philibert Azoulay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Hoffmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Arnold Lachaud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corbehem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vicoigne the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Corbehem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Lachaud to maneuver through the defense. Gregory Penet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Lucien Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucien Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Gobillot, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 26 played minutes Vicoigne got a freekick which was hit by Luc Ozouf. In the 26th minute of the match Honore Kauffmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustin Liagre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gregory Penet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucien Hoffmann having to make a save. If Jacques Gobillot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Manuel Schaub mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corbehem and the Vicoigne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Schaub hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Emilien Rullier came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Corbehem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilien Rullier couldn't finish the play. Faustin Liagre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joffrey Dhainaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes, Benoit Abad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vicoigne and the Corbehem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benoit Abad hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Vicoigne's Faustin Liagre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joffrey Dhainaut in the 45th minute of play. Emilien Rullier might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustin Liagre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilien Rullier ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With his leg Lucien Hoffmann managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Vicoigne's Gregory Penet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th match minute, Corbehem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrice Adler to maneuver through the defense. Joffrey Dhainaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Vicoigne's goal looked a bit too open when Emilien Rullier came free, but Faustin Liagre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacques Gobillot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucien Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 73 minutes of play Corbehem's Manuel Schaub was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corbehem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Corbehem's Fabrice Adler got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Philibert Azoulay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicoigne's supporters rose to their feet, but Philibert Azoulay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucien Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gregory Penet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregory Penet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Hoffmann having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Jacques Gobillot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicoigne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacques Gobillot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Corbehem's Lucien Hoffmann got control of the ball when Gregory Penet tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Corbehem supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vicoigne's performance. The match ended with a win for Vicoigne.
