Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 7 played minutes Vicoigne got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Penet. Faustin Liagre made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Alex Deprez sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the game, Jean-Christophe Desbiolles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Faustin Liagre. Jean-Christophe Desbiolles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Yves Penicaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Penet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Niévroz getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Basile Duru hit a great ball. Gregory Penet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Yves Penicaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josselin Goret hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Niévroz's Jean-Christophe Desbiolles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Faustin Liagre. That made the score 2-1 after 32 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Niévroz's Josselin Goret got a free kick in the 36th minute. Alex Deprez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustin Liagre having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Luc Ozouf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jean-Christophe Desbiolles made the kick off in the second half. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Vicoigne's Jacques Gobillot in the 52nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Yves Penicaud was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Niévroz through an amazing save. Gregory Penets short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Yves Penicaud to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Niévroz's Jean-Christophe Desbiolles got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Niévroz's goalkeeper Yves Penicaud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregory Penet. Gregory Penet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Yves Penicaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alex Deprez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Christophe Desbiolles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustin Liagre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Luc Ozouf notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Niévroz's Yves Penicaud. Yves Penicaud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Alex Deprez came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Niévroz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Deprez couldn't finish the play. If Jean-Christophe Desbiolles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustin Liagre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basile Duru, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Benoit Abad's late challenge caught a Niévroz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benoit Abad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Vicoigne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Abad to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Alex Deprez made a precise shot to the right of Faustin Liagre. Vicoigne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Jean-Christophe Desbiolles took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustin Liagre. Faustin Liagre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Vicoigne's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
