Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cyprien Cahuzac kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, one of Douvrin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thibault Lathiere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Cyrille Cure made a huge save. When Thibault Lathiere fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marquillies's protests and gave Thibault Lathiere a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marquillies getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Thibault Lathiere hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marquillies fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Marquillies:s Yann Jean showed great skill when he stopped Mourad Chotard:s penalty. Cyprien Cahuzac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Yann Jean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Douvrin getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mourad Chotard hit a great ball. Cyrille Cure made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Thibault Lathiere sent off a good shot on target. Cyprien Cahuzac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yann Jean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamza Jacq's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Florentin Watelet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cyrille Cure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentin Watelet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentin Watelet struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cyrille Cure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquillies. 63 minutes into the match, Marquillies's Florentin Watelet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyrille Cure narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Marquillies's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprien Cahuzac came free, but Yann Jean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hamza Jacq had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yann Jean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprien Cahuzac, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Paulo Fréchou kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Marquillies's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cyprien Cahuzac fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Marquillies's zone, Carl Clair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yann Jean came out of the goal and Carl Clair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yann Jean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprien Cahuzac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquillies's Paulo Fréchou pulled a muscle in his back after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Teddy Héricher charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teddy Héricher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Douvrin getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Teddy Héricher hit a great ball. Thibault Lathiere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Douvrin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marquillies.
