If Thibault Lathiere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zinedine Edeline fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Félix's protests and gave Zinedine Edeline a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marquillies booed when Félix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinedine Edeline didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquillies's Ali Poyet couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Félix. Germain Hugon struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Yann Jean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Félix. In the 15th minute, Edouard Agneray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germain Hugon in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yann Jean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yann Jean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germain Hugon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Florentin Watelet succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Félix's zone, Ben Delauney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Courtial came out of the goal and Ben Delauney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germain Hugon's late challenge caught a Marquillies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germain Hugon helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Félix got a freekick which was hit by Germain Hugon. 34 minutes in the game, Zinedine Edeline fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yann Jean having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Thibault Lathiere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marquillies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thibault Lathiere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edouard Agneray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yann Jean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Félix got a freekick which was hit by Zinedine Edeline. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Florentin Watelet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquillies's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentin Watelet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Courtial breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When Marquillies's Florentin Watelet, in the 51st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Marquillies. Daniel Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Yann Jean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edouard Agneray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Félix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Auguste Vercruysse to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Courtial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Watelet, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thibault Lathiere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Thibault Lathiere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquillies's Yann Jean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germain Hugon in the 78th minute of play. Florentin Watelet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Courtial having to interfere. The supporters of Marquillies booed when Félix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinedine Edeline didn't get a good kick on the ball.
