Elias Boitard came out of the goal and Youssef Braem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Dalmaz's Rodrigue Olive got a free kick in the 7th minute. Youssef Braem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Boitard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youssef Braem's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Youssef Braem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Guihard in the 21st minute of play forced Cantarel's goalkeeper Georges Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Dalmaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigue Olive to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Cantarel's Moïse Vibert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Boitard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Youssef Braem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantarel's supporters rose to their feet, but Youssef Braem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Boitard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georges Guihard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Omer Adrian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalmaz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youssef Braem to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Boitard made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Moïse Vibert sent off a good shot on target. Charles Thebault charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Thebault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Georges Guihard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Georges Abadie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cantarel's Moïse Vibert got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Youssef Braem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Youssef Braem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantarel's supporters rose to their feet, but Youssef Braem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Boitard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigue Olive kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The long shot by Lucien Barret in the 98th minute really tested Elias Boitard's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cantarel's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dalmaz had won, even though Cantarel had held more of the ball.
