Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hector Terrasse started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Méricourt got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Bruni. After 6 minutes of play, Puteaux's Cyril Guillemot made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Dufils was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Denis Larbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Méricourt's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Larbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reda Aragon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Méricourt's Denis Larbi got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Florentin Henrion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Martin Geron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puteaux and the Méricourt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaac Dufils was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Martin Geron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Geron really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. A collision led to Méricourt getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jordan Bruni hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Méricourt got a freekick which was hit by Romain Bosse. Cyril Guillemot scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Dufils, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Terrasse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Reda Aragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Geron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Méricourt's goal looked a bit too open when Cyril Guillemot came free, but Isaac Dufils reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Geron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Dufils having to interfere. Martin Geron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Geron in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Dufils prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Puteaux booed when Méricourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romain Bosse didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cyril Guillemot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Larbi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reda Aragon having to make a save. Denis Larbis short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Reda Aragon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Larbi got free with Reda Aragon in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Méricourt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Puteaux.
