Maxence Gallard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moussa Rouvrais, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Bastien Poteau made the kick off in the second half. Eragny's Robert Moisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastien Poteau in the 52nd minute of play. Seynod's Firmin Hallouin got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Eragny's zone, Bastien Poteau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Moisson came out of the goal and Bastien Poteau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Seynod's Maxence Gallard got control of the ball when Michaël Bricaud tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bastien Poteau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michaël Bricaud struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Maxence Gallard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eragny. Seynod's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
