Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mathieu Le Grand took the kick off in the first half of the match. Didier Tremoulet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joël Labitte in the 16th minute. Mathieu Le Grand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Didier Tremoulet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Mathis Gomis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neuvecelle's Karl Guillermet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathieu Le Grand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Mathieu Le Grand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Tremoulet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Guillermet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Tailleur in the 39th minute of the match. Tourcoing's Mehdi Tailleur got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joël Labitte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didier Tremoulet having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathis Gomis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joël Labitte in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didier Tremoulet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tourcoing's Edouard Renauld shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Karl Guillermet but with some difficulty. If Mehdi Tailleur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Guillermet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathis Gomis in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Neuvecelle getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jacob Quero hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathieu Le Grand in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didier Tremoulet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71stth minute of the game Mathieu Le Grand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tourcoing's Didier Tremoulet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mehdi Tailleur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tourcoing's Didier Tremoulet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathieu Le Grand in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Jacob Quero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Guillermet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathis Gomis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Jean-Baptiste Bizeul charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Baptiste Bizeul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tourcoing booed when Neuvecelle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Baptiste Bizeul didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Tourcoing's Mehdi Tailleur made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Guillermet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tourcoing's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
