Johan Bonetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Leprovost having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Cormier got a freekick which was hit by Sebastien Legoff. Fourchon's Didier Santucci got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cormier's Maxime Danis got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gwendal Hoguet kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johan Bonetti to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Didier Santucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boris Leprovost was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cormier's Boris Leprovost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Bonetti in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Gwendal Hoguet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Pennequin during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franklin Pennequin kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Fourchon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didier Santucci to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxime Danis couldn't finish the play. Fourchon's Albert Argentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Fourchon from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Santucci in the 80th minute of play forced Cormier's goalkeeper Boris Leprovost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jordan Malaise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Didier Santucci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Leprovost was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
