Joudrain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emeric Metais ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jordan Malaise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Jordan Malaise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cormier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordan Malaise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Cormier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludovic Leleu to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jordan Malaise made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cormier's zone, Romuald George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Leprovost came out of the goal and Romuald George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romuald George in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Leprovost saved Cormier from getting behind. Charles-Emmanuel Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joudrain's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
