After having played for 4 minutes, Barnabé Nolot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poterie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabé Nolot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poterie's Gaétan Pélat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Morisseau in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poterie's Aymerick Chabbert got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Cussecs's Antonin Galliano in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poterie's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Johan Morisseau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Marc Giffard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mike Carrier in the 19th minute. Mike Carrier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jean-Marc Giffard made a huge save. Jean-Marc Giffard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnabé Nolot, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Poterie defense, Antonin Galliano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaétan Pélat. The Poterie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaétan Pélat should have stopped the shot. Antonin Galliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gaétan Pélat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Poterie's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Galliano came free, but Gaétan Pélat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Junior Mercadier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaétan Pélat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aymerick Chabbert hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Junior Mercadier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gaétan Pélat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Junior Mercadier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Mike Carrier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Junior Mercadier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cussecs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Mercadier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alex Salvador came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Poterie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Salvador couldn't finish the play. Gaétan Pélat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonin Galliano in the 82nd minute. When Victorien Daurès fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poterie's protests and gave Victorien Daurès a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Poterie got a freekick which was hit by Victorien Daurès. Cussecs's Johan Morisseau suffered a sore knee after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 96th minute of the match Victorien Daurès completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Victorien Daurès a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 98th minute, Victorien Daurès hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Engler, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cussecs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
