When Faustin Thelliez fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bègles's protests and gave Faustin Thelliez a yellow card for diving instead. Faustin Thelliez hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Adam Perennes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faudel Coquel having to interfere. Bègles's Tony Fevre was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Justin Perrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faudel Coquel having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Dupuch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adam Perennes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Faudel Coquel made a huge save. After 57 minutes, Justin Perrin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charrronnerie and the Bègles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justin Perrin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Mohamed Dupuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bègles's Danny Deudon got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Mohamed Dupuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josselin Lemerle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josselin Lemerle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Fevre, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Charrronnerie's Josselin Lemerle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Dupuch in the 74th minute of play. Nicolas Leneveu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josselin Lemerle. Charrronnerie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mohamed Dupuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Josselin Lemerle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Tony Fevre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Fevre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Perennes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Fevre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josselin Lemerle having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bègles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Charrronnerie had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
