If Walter Boudet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bixente Courtade during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cendre getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bixente Courtade hit a great ball. Walter Boudet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Helias having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Thierry Labarbe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hervé Colpaert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 played minutes, Cendre's Romain Bayard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hervé Colpaert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cendre reached it. Matheo Launay's late challenge caught a Cendre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matheo Launay helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Choisel got a freekick which was hit by Matheo Launay. In the 32nd minute, Bixente Courtade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thierry Labarbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hervé Colpaert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Walter Boudet put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pierre-Olivier Helias. After a rather tough play, Choisel's Walter Boudet got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustin Moyse to make the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Choisel's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valerien Blois was slow to take the kick. During this time Cendre's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 56 in the game by Faustin Moyse from a close distance when the talented Hervé Colpaert managed to make a qualified save. Choisel's players were relieved. If Faustin Moyse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Choisel's Cyrille Radet got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Walter Boudet made a precise shot to the right of Pierre-Olivier Helias. Cendre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Cendre's Romeo Astruc got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Faustin Moyse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Choisel got a freekick which was hit by Matheo Launay. Hervé Colpaert made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Faustin Moyse sent off a good shot on target. After 81 minutes, Thierry Labarbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cendre and the Choisel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Choisel booed when Cendre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Labarbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cendre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Choisel.
